Cookie Policy

This page explains what Seed (seed.superseeds.io) stores in your browser and why. The short version: only what is needed to keep you signed in and make the app work — no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and therefore no consent banner.

1. Strictly necessary cookies

When you sign in, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets session cookies (named starting with sb-) that keep you signed in as you move around the app. They are essential — Seed cannot work without them — so they do not require consent. They are removed or expire when you sign out.

If you connect a Meta or Google advertising account, Seed sets one short-lived cookie of its own for that connection (meta_oauth_state or google_oauth_state). It holds a random value used to confirm that the sign-in coming back is the one you started, which is what stops someone else's account being attached to yours. It expires after ten minutes and is not used for anything else. These are also strictly necessary and do not require consent.

2. Browser storage

Seed uses your browser's local and session storage for small pieces of interface state — which ad placements you last worked on, and an unfinished prompt carried across a page change so it is not lost. This data stays in your browser, is not a tracking technology, and is never sent to anyone. (Your progress through the guided tour is not kept here: it is stored on your account, so the tour does not restart on a different device.)

3. Cookie-free performance measurement

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page visits and measure loading speed. Both are designed to work without cookies: they set no cookies, store nothing in your browser, and do not create identifiers that follow you across other websites. Data reaches us only in aggregate (for example, how many visits a page got and how fast it loaded).

4. Payments

Token purchases happen on Stripe's own checkout pages (checkout.stripe.com). While you are there, Stripe sets its own cookies — including ones it needs for fraud prevention — under Stripe's cookie policy. Seed itself never sees your card details.

5. Changes and contact

If we ever add cookies that require consent (for example advertising or third-party analytics cookies), we will add a consent banner and update this page first. Questions? Write to emil@superseeds.io. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
